I have the cabrio rear springs. They are stiffer but I also believe a bit taller. I'll be going with some 750 rear GC springs that'll get me a bit lower.

This was never confirmed to me so I have no knowledge but it was mentioned in this thread so thats where I will direct you. As for the price I have not been told by the distributer yet but I would act sooner then later because after my set is delivered Im done with it.

maybe i cut the top of the nipple off? to allow more travel?

but ill keep the pad so it dont make noise, the pad is not that thick. but ill deff remove the adjuster- no need for it/ just taking up space

I'm just referring to the nipple that protrudes down about 3-4" on the top pad. May or may not be an issue but if he takes it out it certainly won't be and he'll have more travel since the spring can compress more without that nipple bottoming out on the adjuster.

    This...

And, as someone else said, loose springs don't mean dick. You'd have to be Duke's of Hazarding that shit to have anything "go wrong". Not to say extraordinary things don't happen, but really, it wont matter much.

If the rear doesn't sit exactly where you want, go buy $79.00 rear GC springs of your choice and pop 'em in there. Instantly lower and you can run your adjuster.

Your car is not going to look like that with the high rear arches. Take the spring pads out at the minimum, but it looks like you're going to have to run just the spring to have the ride height you want.

Loose springs aren't that big of a deal. My Ground Control springs fall out whenever I jack the car up.
