got mine in the mail Einstein, wired it in the trunk. works like a charm, i don't need lights/sounds, so i am very content. thanks a bunch. i am now rocking GE suspension and keyless... wow, dude you have truly helped out this e30 community. props!!!!

no, the blue isn't wired to anything. should it?

just the lock and unlock (both whites), the two yellow and one black grounds, and the power. And i was eventually going to do the pink wire thing to keep it from auto-locking, but ya...

when i hit the lock button there are 3 or 4 clicks from the box. all the grounds are connected. I combined the two yellow grounds onto one screw. That shouldn't matter right? :/

What happens when you hit the lock button? Any relay noises from the box? All grounds are connected? Should be 3 If I remember correctly

Ok I am having some trouble....hopefully someone can help me out.

I have a 91' 318is. So far I have only tested the lock and unlock wires..grounded everything and hooked it up to the power..both in the kicker panel and trunk. (wired according to thebutcher37 on pg 16, post 234. I got the unlock to work in both the trunk and kicker panel. The lock portion however has not worked in either location. When I have my door closed and I lock the car manually it locks both doors (coupe). When I lock and unlock the car with my key, both lock. When I open the trunk both doors lock. I have used T-taps and a splice from home depot and both worked on the unlock, but not the lock portion. If anyone has any troubleshooting they can throw my way that'd be awesome
