I assume at ~500 a pop they must be done the same as his M30 and 24v manifolds.

They are a good product for the price, with a good track record. What makes you think something is wrong with them?

Yes manufactured in China to my specs like the M30 & 24V ones. I have over 250 sold all over the world without any cracking issues. Quite a few are on drag cars going 9 sec and see serious abuse.
And they come with a 3 year warranty against cracking.

Curious as to why no twin scroll? Also, will it fit ix? (I'm a noob and not sure what constraints are different about ix fitment - I assume mounts must be different to work around half shafts?)

                  Yup

I'll be putting together a turbo build soon and this would be perfect. I'd prepay/leave a deposit depending on lead time. Looking in the next month or two.

Very interested in this. Put me on the list once it get's started! (I'll keep my eyes posted on here, subbed.)

This would be going onto my 91 325iX - not expecting any fitment issues but do you know for sure if it'd fit? Anyone? Edit - Counted three other iX guys asking the same question.

Is there a significant difference between the ix and standard models clearance wise?
                      What would interfere?

My Dan Pinder group buy manifold hit the original engine mount arm on my iX, and the WG provision that was added to fit a RWD car interfered slightly forward of the strut tower on the iX

Edit: I should mention that the Dan Pinder manifolds are what the CXracing/Ebay manifolds are copies of, so they don't fit the iX either.

Equal length runners yield more gains in spool up time on a 4 cylinder.
Twin scroll manifolds will require 2 wastgates or one large one, which adds more cost and requires more space.
