Stromung cat back Group Purchase

Belatedly but I got one of these in the 2021 group buy period - with the autotragic I used to have it was kind of droney at a lot of typical street and highway RPMs, but with the 5-speed swap done it's much, MUCH more enjoyable overall, and sounds great when you get your foot on it. It's a smidge loud at idle outside the car for my tastes because I don't like annoying my neighbors when warming her up or coming home late, but I have a more low-key preference in that regard than most so I imagine for most people on r3v it's in a great sweet spot. If you can get your mitts on one, they're a nice upgrade if your old one is on the way out like mine was. I can't say I've noticed any power gain in the butt dyno in the time I've had it - I recall reading it allegedly gets you like 5-10hp-ish - but that wasn't really my goal with it and I'm sure somebody with a hopped up motor that isn't stock like mine would get something out of it.

I recently found out the PO took the "easy" way after replacing the cat and had the middle exhaust flange removed, making my exhaust one piece from after the header to the muffler lol. The muffler is also developing a hole.

he'll still do it if you can get 10 guys or so to commit and put down deposits. there are enough that still pony up full cost that you could probably pull it off.

edit: you'll have to organize it and probably get people in from a couple platforms.
