Got any other installed pics? I'm interested but would like to see fitment before I commit.

Yes, any close up pictures of the fitment? Is there bowing on the edges (I've had that before) or ends that turn in up by the cowl.

              How much does it weigh?

Is it fiberglass with a CF first layer?

              When does the sale end?

This is what it would look like essentially installed. Fitment is pretty good considering it's a non-OEM part but it could require a small amount of rework. I'm not 100% about how much it weighs but if I had to guess, maybe about 25-30pounds (but don't quote me on that). And it's all twill weave carbon fiber. Sale will be up for a few more weeks but once it goes down, Ill try and keep it going for my fellow E30 brethren

                    Needs less weight.

I was up above it, Now I'm down in it ~ Entropy - A Build thread.

Looks promising! It might be quite a bit less than 25lbs depending on how many layers there are and how much gel coat there is. It doesn't have a fiberglass core so it shouldn't be too bad (those old shitty ebay CF hoods that everyone bought were just as heavy as the stock hood). My hood is only 10lbs but they aren't made anymore and it cost a lot more than $650.

For reference, looks like a stock hood is ~38lbs.

This looks like a quality product.... Do you plan to make the carbon fiber e30 m3 EVO3 wings?

Thanks for the reference point. I haven't weighted the one for my cabrio yet, as it's still in the box. It's under the knife getting ready for winter surgery, so that it will be ready for next summer. I have a stock hood on my coupe.

@Nando, I do remember those fleaBay CF hoods. And your right, they did nothing for saving weight.
