I'd be in for a set for 100% positive. I already have some corrado rotors bored out, and a set of wilwood 4 piston calipers. I'd be interested in doing braking tests with the wilwoods as scientifically as I can, getting similar compound pads for the rx7 calipers, taking the wilwoods off for powdercoating and testing the rx7 caliper setup. I already have the calipers, just need adapters :)

Just wondering if anyone would actually care to comment if this upgrade has made a worthwile difference in their braking preformance. Also can the corrado rotors be bored out by yourself or would a shop have to do them?

a shop would have to do this, as you need a level surface on the rotor for obvious reasons.

Call your local machine shops. Most here (hick fucking redneck town) won't do it at all, a couple quoted me $20, one quoted me $250. Machinists are all on crack here, from what I can tell.

What do you mean the difference? Aluminum is a metal. Steel is a metal. They are both metals with different properties.

In fact, lead and tin are also metals, maybe these types of material would be cheaper for a big ol' GB.

Yes, much cheaper. They are easier to make too, all you need is a chisel and a blowtorch.

and now that this has been covered we could make a NEW thread discussing metals in off topic.

I am still wondering if the benefit outways the cost of paying an extra ~$70 on top of the parts everytime you have to replace your rotors. Geuss ill have to wait for your results.

has anyone looked into how safe these r if made properly? will there need to be a bias valve and bigger master cylinder in order to rebalance brake proportioning? just posting some concerns because if this kit doesn't workout properly it could end up being very dangerous...please post info that has been proven if u have some...thanks
