Should be. If you're interested you'd be helping a few people out.

Yes,
The hyper silver set is still available.
FYI, I've received shipping information. You guys can all track these yourself. They are boarding the ship Friday, but it seems it doesn't leave until the 11th. This kind of sucks since the ships estimated time of arrival is now 9/02. The Vessel's name is the UNI-ARDENT V.1238A. I'll post a link to it's tracking once it sets off. So the wheels are a full two weeks later then expected. The last shipment was 2 weeks at sea, and this one seems to be taking longer. I could only guess that means there is a stop somewhere else (maybe Canada) before it arrives.
But at least I have good info on them, and I'm not just making up fluff excuses. I would like to apologize for the delay. I know some of you guys are really looking forward to these, and they may even be holding up your install. They quite simply were not able to expedite production as fast as they had expected. I know this time of year they are busy producing new wheels for OEM manufacturers that will used on their new model vehicles for 2010.
In the overall scheme of things I think everything is still going very well. to be exactly 2 weeks behind the anticipated date on a wheel with so much modification to make it a 4 lug, is great in my opinion. We all know that the car world just seems to be full of delays, and I'm glad to see it's not 1,2,3..+ months of delays like I've seen some other projects.Last edited by PaintPro21; 08-05-2009, 03:56 AM.Comment

I don't even have a car so all is well on the wait! They'll probably show up just in time for my car's trip to the body shop so I can have my fenders rolled/pulled while they're fixing the rest of the damage. That should also give me some intel for the rest of you on what's involved to clear a 235/40.'89 325is S50 Track Montser

Mystikal was talking to ne about fitting a 235, he said would need hopefully just a roll. I think that's what I'm going to aim for

235 is already wide and the most realistic. 245 is way oversized for the 8" wheel and will have a lot of sidewall deflection in turns (makes rolling the fender harder since the tire will move laterally back and forth more, so it will need additional rolling to prevent rubbing in hard cornering).Comment

I'm hoping the 235 will be decently easy to make work.... I want the car low and still perform great

If you're looking at Vulcan, they're $125 a tire, Tire Rack is selling the star specs for $12 more per tire and personally I'd rather have the dunlops over the Falkens... I've never had the falkens, but I've heard enough negatives to steer clear
