I wasn't talking about flares or body panels. The OP was talking about a wing with gurney flap, something that is a replication of an oem piece.

Which is why I said I'd rather pay $1k for the oem piece and know it's going to fit perfect than shell out $600 for something that I'm going to be frustrated about and then hate looking at every time I see the car.

.5" gap down most of the driver's side and it bulges up. The passenger side isn't much better.
Without the evo hood seals I could see the engine plain as day. I've been doing E30 for 15 years now and I've spent 6 years building this one...It's the only thing on the whole car I'm not happy with.

    Massive Brakes
    Apex Wheels
I even remember UUC when all they did was innovate the short shifter...remember www.shortshifter.com? :)
etc. etc. I'd like to see more companies like this.

Ary then also throws salt into the wound by watermarking the pictures with his copyright signage. He has been called out on this practice a few times but never responds.

Someone should make an avatar similar to the "Just say no to Sportmax" for DTM Fiberwerks.

That being said, does anyone know of a more reputable source for fender flares? I do not want ones meant for a 2002, however.

S14.net is more of a mature crowed who usually spend more, and expect top quality, I would to if I had a E30 M3. But for the rest of us Ary's stuff is Ok its not great but it is not the worst.

my MA Shaw CF hood fits perfectly, with 0 work. All the bodyshop did was prime and paint it. So that's BS.

the quality is plain shit, and it always has been, but kids will still eat it up. Don't kid yourself into think it's normal, especially when some things (like the fenders) cost more than OEM.

It's not exactly like E30 fenders are heavy, either. An E30 fender can't weigh more than 5lbs. what does a CF fender save? 1-2 lb? And that's not accounting for the fact that most of the parts are just fiberglass with a CF overlay and about 5lbs of gel coat. Does that seem worth the trouble of something that fits so poorly?

Good intentions gone bad. Should be lesson learned for zee wife. You need to be involved in purchasing surprise parts lol

Good luck man, there's been a wave of bad business practices going on lately.

I understand that some parts may/may not fit 100%. They are not oem. The main issue is that Ary chooses to take my money, and not allow a return or even lend help. He knows his pieces are junk, for me to have to cut my oem trunk (e30 m3) is nuts. I have learned over the last week that he has major fitment issues with most of his stuff. Check out s14, he is not welcome there...

You get what you pay for and I hope you guys stay away. But. As long as he sells cheap pieces, people will buy. It seems he has burned more people than helped, he needs quality control and new molds. 720.00 and zero customer service.

    Beware of them...

I've made plenty of FG and CF parts. Once the mold is made every part coming out of it should be identical...and fit.
Then why are there so many FB and CF parts that do not fit? Not just Ary's stuff. If it is that easy then why are there so many bad kits.
