thanks a lot for the responses guys. I have been convinced to go with the shaved m20 flywheel and clutch kit. Does the oem sachs clutch have the necessary holding power for the s50?

Some say so, I ended up going with a custom clutch built by a local company here in Tulsa. Friction Products on 11th.

Resurfaced and lightened flywheel, custom clutch and pressure plate, TO bearing, pilot bearing, alignment tool, $263 out the door.

A friend of mine is doing 400 hp with a turbo M20 and he's still using the stock M20 clutch & pressure plate.

              Got it!!

              Let the fun begin!

Joe Funk is being really slow about my shifter carrier and selector rod. I need to get them to mattd for modification if anybody's got some available.
              thanks

Where are the wheels in your sig? I like those on your car more than the 6 spokes.

You work fast! That's exactly the same way I pulled my m20 out as well!

                          Good luck :)

That's cool that you are doing the swap with your Dad. You have a big front yard, mang! Congrats on the swappy, looking forward to following you progress.

I've still got the reps. They certainly look much better than the 6 spokes. I keep the sportmaxes around for my track tires. I try to get a full day of swap work in each weekend - its been 2.5 working days so far.

                                thanks!
