Um yeah. Well, actually after looking at the numbers it doesnt make much sense. Well, mine is faster @ 260 hp/2450 lbs. It's been proven a couple of times anyway.

240 hp/2700 lbs. vs. 333 hp/3400 lbs. <------These numbers are vague and the flywheel horsepower of an OBD-1 S52 with a proper tune should be up a decent bit from that, especially with the hot rod bolt-on's.

        My s50 e30 can spank even a C5 Vette.
I can't say for any of the US s50 swaps though.
        s50b32 ftw

I wish I could have gotten one at the time but I am just going to run my s52 till it pops. Then putting the turbo, arp head and crank studs, gasket, forged pistons, and vems

C6 Vette couldnt pull away from me on the highway, so the US 3.2 litre has been spoken for. (Not a lie, and yes, I was surprised). Didnt spank him though, at all.

I would really like to track down one of the real M motors though...

I think its 1 tenth of a second for every ten pounds or something closer to that.

Hmm never heard that. I know the general rule of thumb that 100 lbs. removed is about the same as freeing up 10 hp.

I was dead even with an E46 M3 through 4th (70 mph roll, closed course, professional driver, don't try this shit at home kids) and then in 5th I started to pull away ever so slightly. I attributed this to my shorter gears though...

Motor: 3.5" MAF, TMS chip, 21.5lb injectors, headers. ZF tranny with a 3.25 rear end, my car weighs in at about 2940lb with me in the driver's seat and my day to day shit in the trunk, back seat.
