I was given the Joupe for free and the other is my daily and has been for years. I've had more E30s than vws.

And, I bet it still has DB's so in my book (the only one that matters) it's still an early model.

It doesn't have DBs and it was an 88, so the rear body is late model along with the plastic bumpers, late model valance, and late model is lip that are on it.
