        Success!!

Well guys, I finally got the car started. I have a video up. I am so unbelievably happy right now. For those of you who have done the swap, you know how I feel right now, and for those of you who are working on the swap or are going to be doing the swap, you will know how I feel. Things left to do are to get my exhaust fabbed up, get the shifter linkage shortened, and install my driveshaft! And put all the fluids back in. Well, on with the video!!

This. please. measurements if possible would grant you god-like status.

I can definitely do that for you guys. That should be Friday or Saturday. And as far as measurements go, I measured that it needs to be shortened 2 5/8". I will confirm that though when I get a chance to go to my house and work on it this weekend.

Well guys, I finally drove my car after 2 and a half months of not driving it. Was amazing. It was at 12 am and it was with open headers. I most likely pissed the neighbors off, but I don't care. And the measurements I took were dead on. Shorten it on the linkage and the selector rod 2 and 5/8". It works perfectly. Ask me how I know. Now I just gotta get my exhaust stuff and get it fabbed up and then get my new tabs! I am so freakishly happy right now.

Thanks man! It's one of the greatest feelings in the world. Oh, and if anybody needed info on the shortening of the shifter linkage, let me know.

Very noticeable. I just got the thing legal on saturday. It took forever to get my exhaust all welded up. I had the 4.10 in it, drove it for a day. Then went out and got a 3.25. Way too high of gearing for my taste. I love it so far. Saving up for coilovers now!! How goes your swap? ^
