[QUOimTE=bloodshot-e30;2429558]yea it will it killed the low end on my M52 then i went with 2.5 all the way back and helped A LOT![/QUOTE]

Its your headers that caused that, not the size of the exhaust pipes.

No engine is engineered for backpressure. They are however made with velocity in mind. But e30 guys love $100 ebay headers..

Flowmaster 40!!! I welded a e36 M3 tip on the end of it.

I love the way it sounds too. I have a video of it some place on my other e30.
Im going to be changing to a bigger tip to fill up the cut out though.

I'm going to just run the E36 M3 stuff I have for now, I can always upgrade later. But I have it now, and don't have to spend a bunch of money to run it.

http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=199575 http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum....php?t=1594553 I think these will all work,(( iffy with the 318 IS??? will work)) the big Remus is 2.75" if your boosting, just buy a tip. If your not boosting and doing some ar all these mods, cams, headers, TB, MAF, chip i think the Supertrapp/ adjustable is the way to go. An adjustable 3" Supertrapp is good to 400HP, 2.5" Supertrapp good to 250HP, you add plates up to 24. It is amazing where Supertrapp have come as a CO. in 10 years. I pulled the Remus off my E30 vert to sell. I saw an Eisermann for some new BMW $3000 and for a stock motor ( dynoed for stock only) The Boom pipe( Pics) on my truck is off a NASCAR car, i didn't realize they spend $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ on the exaust systems. The exaust is dynoed for each different motor, sounds real good. Alot of people just dont like the look or sound of the Supertrapp, got one on my ETA i got off E bay for $50, it had a dent he couldnt put it on his motorcycle with the dent.

I have this on my S50 swap. 3" single all the way back. Muffler looks nice and sounds good. It's a bit loud with a resonator and high flow cat.

The muffler is pressed together rather than welded. Other than that, it seems like a great product, especially considering the price.

of the mufflers i've had, the only one i loved the sound of was the magnaflow straight-through muffler. single 2.5in, single 2.5in out. should be just as awesome for 3in. not to mention it was probably less than half the weight of the stock cat-back section.

my current setup is something like dynacrap and isnt great...
