    24v no start? What was it?

    My s50e30 is making its way to a shop to be finished. Just thought a thread that had 24v swapped owners that had problems starting the car, listing the fix of the issue. anyone game?

    Good idear..

    Problem: Fuel pump wasn't priming.

    Solution: ECU wasn't grounded :hitler: (took me two weeks to figure that out :loco:)

      So far I've seen a few worth mentioning

      EWS not deleted on later motors

      Failed "New" Crank Position Sensor

      Female pins used on both sides of the x20


      Water Damage to the Donor DME

        The fusible link burned out.

                  Then the main ground for your harness is crap and you're entire harness is grounding itself through your ecu right now.

                    Problem: main ground for wiring harness is crap.

                    Solution: ground the ecu

                          Fuse box not hooked up to 12v power. Fried the oil sensor on the pan. Thankfully that was all. Ran a new wire to it and made sure no other wires were cooked then was running fine.

                            Its grounded on the shock tower. The case doesn't need to be grounded like everyone says. The ground that is by the strut IS the ground for the ECU.


                            1. CPS pluged into the Cam sensor. Opposite plugs on obd2 engines but they are the same on NV engines. On NV engines if you swap up those two sensors it can run but rough
                            2. PO had an aftermarket alarm
                            3. Vacuum leak on the goose neck under the manifold
                            4. fouled plugs
