          Problem: crank with no start.

Solution: I had a fuel rail without a FPR. It took me a week to figure it out by
clamping the return fuel line with vise grips.

I think on mine, we had the crank and cam position sensors connectors swapped.

              problem: crank but no start

Soution: Make sure your power wires are hooked up to the right studs on the power block

Yes, do this, and check it twice. We fried the ground running from the harness up on the firewall all the way down to the oil pan level sensor because we had a ground hooked to constant power at the distribution block. You DO NOT want to trace a melted wire all the way back through the harness and then replace it, trust me.

woah man, that really sucks. I can't imagine your reaction when tracing the wire through the entire harness. Luckily I had a power to ground so no serious issues arose.

Yeah, I was pretty fucking pissed. We had to pull the intake manifold and everything around it, and tear apart the whole harness that I had just re-wrapped and zip-tied to the track. We turned the key, and smoke just started rising from under the manifold.

I've had my wires hooked up in different arrangements at the power block and obviously had to have been hooked up backwards a few times. No smoke but how could I tell if my harness could be fried? At the moment no fuel or spark, ICV doesnt buzz and no CEL in accessories/cranking. beginning to get sooo stressful

try hooking up another ECU and seeing if that changes anything. That would be horrible if you fried your ECU, but IIRC your relays will go out before your ECU does. pull off the harness cover and check the connections in there, as well as the connections on your starter, alternator, and power block for any corrosion.

problem: no start because of IAC delete.
