It was my first time at the drag strip and on the slower run i tapped the rev limiter in 2nd and 3rd opps. On the thrid run i tried to launch instead of just slipping the clutch and just spun through 1st and second.

    I see a 13.7 and a 13.59, both trapping 103.

I can't see the pic currently at work, but I hope it's better than a 13.9

Not even Close jut a 5.0 not dressed and no trans is about 470-490 and thats not with a big ass intake lile the FI cars have. Add another 75 pounds for the t-5 minus the flywheel and pressure plate. your going to end up around 600 pounds fully dressed.

A crate motor from ford is 545 with the crate. Those shitty crates they come are not that heavy.

I feel you man. I see too many deals and I grab stuff impulsively. Got a pair of sparcos, and a sparco strut brace in the past month.

I can't wait to start working full time at the beginning of 2010! :D

As far as the LS1, I'm good on that. I could do the 5.0 swap for the price that I could sell my motor for. ;)
Nice! I got the LS1 at a very good deal so I could not resist it.
