We have the same motor all you have i dont is the chip the pullies and the 250 i still have the 260 and 3.73's. IF i launch at 2500 (I tried that my verry first run ever) I ran an 18. I swear I was in 3rd by around 60ft

No, 1st. 2nd I was getting wayyyy too much wheel spin, tried it twice and got like high 15 second runs.

All they are doing for track prep is draging old tires behind a tractor for the first 50ish ft twice a night.

Fuck it your cars fast. I know your runng what you say you are, I just dont get how you can launch at 2500. do they prep your tack? In sac I know they dont. Im found I had a vacume leak for a while maybe Ill put down the same e.t you have the next time I go out. Ill take al my sht out the trunk also. Hoping to get an AA chip soon 2

I don't have a scale locally or I would go get a weight for you but it can't be that light. I have only taken out the tar in the trunk, insulation on firewall, and the pad under the carpet. Stock seats, ect. Even has the m50 which is a few pounds heavier than the m20.

the 60ft time is not outragously good but the 1/8mi trap and 1/4mi trapspeed give signs of a car much lighter than your average E30.

0-80mph 9.0 sec
0-100mph 13.9 sec
80-100mph 4.9sec (to remove the launch factor)

A 2850lb E36 did the same in 11.7sec, 18.8sec and 7.1sec respectively.........so what is the weight of the thing?

and you apear to be hooking pretty good the way your car is squating in the rear.

my old turbo e30 was running 13.8s at around 105. It was a fast car but not easy to get a good 60 foot with, my best was a 2.28.

M20, 8PSI, Ebay manifold, Ebay turbo, 38lb injectors, 215/45/17 Kumho Ecsta MX, 3.73 LSD, Megasquirt:

14.0 @ 106mph

Why do I feel that I should be in the 13's? I just read through this thread and all you guys in the 13's are running a much lower trap speed than me... ?

Edit: My car makes 235 whp and 240 wtq.
