            Yes.
            The panel on the firewall traps the top of the cover via some pegs. The lower part of the cover then clips on to the panel.

              Okay so I took the part numbers you guys gave, and for 51711380392 which covers the passenger side where the battery dist is costs about $20.00 if you look up for a 318 it is only $5.00 the p/n is 12521718114 but doesnt come up on Realoem search but does at tischer. Im gonna call BMW to se whats up tomorow.

                My recently finished OBDI S52 1991 318is.

                Engine is from a 1998 M3 with a little more than 100k.

                This puppy purrs and pulls my little E30 along so quickly. My life is complete.
