Sticking with the e30 trans and DS is the way to go.

I have a z310 and I've been searching my local craigslist for 2 years for an e36 driveshaft that would fit.

In the same time period I managed to buy 2 spare g260s and a spare e30 drive shaft for dirt cheap.

With the g260's I also saved money by keeping my s3.73
    1991 318is sold!

When I was looking for swap parts earlier this year I found three E36 manual drive shafts for sale on bf.c in the span of a couple weeks. It's not like these are unicorn pieces...

Maybe the OP did but that is still no way to reply when you're a vendor. I can tell you that when I get ready to do my swap I will probably skip over anything that has your handle. I will do what I need to do to make my parts fit...I'm mean...you did it, why can't others right. Good luck with your business.

You're going to make your own swap guibo?

I can understand any business being frustrated seeing posts by the likes of Mr.Swiss spouting "I've heard..." statements.

Is Mr. Revshift the only one that has the tools to be capable of making one? I don't think so...

I'd rather not associate myself with people that are trying to start a business and answer people in the manner he did. I try to respect others sir and hopefully I get treated with respect myself.

www.car-part.com is a great resource for finding parts.

I bough a large flange (12mm/96PCD) E30 driveshaft for $75, shipping was $25. Its not hard to find one or expensive!

We are a fairly well established business. We have been making E30 parts for years now. Last time I check this forum's members were known for talking smack. Just because we are a business doesn't mean we aren't real people who are capable of playing around on the internet. Lighten up, please. :)

You are butt-hurt because you had an issue with our swap mounts when doing your swap over a year ago. Let it go, man.

And input shaft bearings? The input shaft isn't even by the guibo. We aren't talking about clutches here. If you had said output shaft bearing then it could have made some sense. It would still be completely inaccurate, though.
Diff input bearing not tranny sir, and as you mentioned yes the tranny output bearing also is tasked with absorbing the harmonics your solid disc does not. Thats why the OE setup is a rubber disc that DOES absorb harmonics and saves the bearings on both ends of the shaft.

As far as your "butt hurt" comment. I'm not bashing your company, I just dont care for your product line. Your mounts did not work and I sold them for half of what I paid. No big deal to see for myself what was being offered on the E30 24V swap market.

I sincerly hope you can develop better products and perhaps improve on your current designs.

I like what you are doing, just not HOW you are doing it.

The point is that business entities are subject to different social rules than individuals are. Ok, someone had a bad experience with one of your products, it happens. However, the appropriate action is to address that neutrally and not personally attack the person who had a bad experience. The general lack of professionalism reflects on your products and service, and negatively. Now, your products generally look good, but I'm with Poorboyz on this one. Responses like the ones here are the reason I've never done business with you, nor do I intend to. You should probably take a hint here: there are two people who would be potential customers in this thread who have said they won't be due to your attitude. How many other sales are you costing yourself?

This. I thought revshift was the shit, then I ordered the 24v swap mounts they make. After being treated poorly, and them not shipping my mounts for almost a week, I was pretty upset. And this thread just makes me laugh because of their immaturity. Not to mention the mounts are starting to rip.. I know what guibo I'm not buying!

Will not be purchasing any of their products either.

Was going to buy quite a few since I am just starting a swap, but after read this.

                          No thank you.

Hmmm... what about revshift rear subframe / swing arm poly bushing kits? Any issues with product itself like squeaks it might have down the road? I was thinking on getting one soon... thanks

                                I have a ZF DS... :P

On the r3v shift issue, havent used their products so no comment there, only heard lots of bitching about the swap guibo requiring bolt head/nut grinding to fit 99% of ZF output flanges. Absolutley great idea though. Wish i had thought of it.
