Great pics thanks for the update! One question, is there a negative effect from having a smaller reservoir?Leave a comment:

Some updates
The smaller reservoir that you can buy will fit in the master cylinder with the smaller grommets but the clutch master cylinder hose would have to be extended and the e9x reservoir can fit with some “massaging” with the m52/s52
Here’s some pics.

does the original reservoir only interfere with the TPS on an M50/S50? Would the top mounted S52 fit fine?Leave a comment:

Update update update. Take a look at the first page and see the update, I put down everything that you need to do the e9x booster swap
Thank you.

Great info guys!
My M52 is running a single stage Audi brake booster, but this may be a good upgrade (my pedal is pretty hard).

Thank you for your reply. Appreciate a lot.Don't know about RHD. But I think mine was from 320D. The same booster and master is used in high variety of cars: https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/par...&q=34336785664
So there are plenty of cars to choose the booster from. All same.
The master in these is 25.4/22.2 mm. Only the 316-318 came with different master which is 23.81/22.2 mm. Don't know which master works better. The smaller one may be better match to e30 stock brakes because of the size relation between front and back circuits is closer to e30 original. But I will use e38 4-pot brembos which came with 25.4 master also.Leave a comment:

Hi Pazi, which booster exactly you bought? I saw a couple from e92 320d but i guess their master cylinders would differ as well.IF you jump around between e30 and newer cars, the difference how much brake power you need to apply is quite big. Which is quite annoying and because of the brake feel the e30 feels like outdated car. Which it is :D So I at least would much rather get the same new car feel to the e30 brakes also.
And inspired by this thread, I also got myself e90 booster. 50€ from ebay and in like new condition. Going to install that to my car next winter when the driving season ends here.
But well. Some people even like the boosterless setups and I personally think that those are the most horrible thing to have...
And do you think this will work in RHD?
