The e30 doesn’t feel like I’m driving a 31 year old car anymore. It’s very responsive, predictable pedal, smooth braking even with the RX7 calipers. I would recommend this booster to ever single e30 owner out there.

What is it that makes this MC feel better than others? I didn't think that brake boost technology has changed much in 30 years, it's still just a big pneumatic diaphragm with a metering valve.

Can anybody do a side to side comparison to the E32 735 unit?

Will E90 booster fit with an S54?

Give me a few months and I will let you know. I am putting the E90 unit in with my S54. I still may have to shave the plastic a bit, we will see.

A word of caution for those that are doing this booster with a BBK up front only... if you plan to track the vehicle you will need to upgrade the rear as well otherwise you'll be going through brake pads like I did.

The 25mm master will shift the bias all the way forward on our cars if you don't match up the front calipers with something larger out back.

Switching back to a stock master cylinder cured all of my issues. I have the 280x22 massive kit.

Nice I've been doing a lot of research about what the best way to do it is. I'm going to be repainting the car when I do mine so modifying the firewall in some way is an option too. I wonder if it would be possible to move the booster farther back into the car if it doesn't fit.

Still prepared to do small cut out on the intake box but it’s an experiment, if not, gonna do hydro boost using e28 535i/m5.
