jean, i had schatz and krum drill and tap the second port in the head for the second coolant temp sensor. drilling and tapping a hold in an aluminum head is beyond my comfort zone and its easy having it done while the motor is out of the car. it's the easiest and cleanest way to have the temp gauge in the cluster functional.Mtech1 v8 build thread - https://www.r3vlimited.com/board/sho...d.php?t=413205

I can walk you through the smog referee process as well. I did it for my e30 and it was pretty easy as long as you take some precautions.______________________

For the M52, the ETK shows PN 11347504268 for the spring and 11341432453 for the top plate. The top plate is the same as the S50US and S52, but the spring and bottom plate are different part numbers.
PN 11347504268 looks like this:
but it different that the S50/52 valve spring PN 11341403709
