Well, as a treat, maybe you guys can get pedis afterwards, and perhaps set up a day at the spa when you want to talk about brake boosters and driveshafts?

sooo...back to the topic....
Get your $$ ready to buy new obd1 sensors for everything!
You'll need a timing case-mounted CPS, not the rear-mounted one. OBD1 cam and knock sensors too.
If you take the head to a shop to get refreshed, drilling that extra hole shouldn't be too much.
Nice find man!
hugh_ass-care to walk me through the referee thing too?

one step at a time . So the obd2 knock sensors are no go then huh?
the biggest thing you have to do for the referee process is make sure the motor looks like a 95 or older obd1 motor. that means valve cover, ecu, etc. they didn't do any vin check on mine, but i have a friend in the bay area who is trying to referee blunt's old e30 and they are putting him through the wringer. it seems like the standards between ref station varies widely.

Jean, I'm running the M52 w/ S52 cams combo. Make sure you get the second temp sensor right, it will really affect how well your car runs!
Also, I suggest the 7-Series brake reservoir instead of 320i - it sits above intake instead of under like the 320i one, providing better maintenance access (and to fuel lines too). You can do it with brake reservoir adapters from an E21, with a 325ix booster.
.
E30 24V 6MT SOLD :( - look for it in sunny Miami :)
Damn, and here I thought I was getting a good deal! Picking up a complete 80k M52, all OBD2 stuff, accessories and M50 manifold for 1100 on Saturday. I figure I can sell all the OBD2 stuff to recoup some of the cost of obtaining all the OBD1 stuff.
m3_eater: How do you like the motor/cam combo so far?
e30serg: How much did you spend on the new crank, cam and knock sensors? I havent bothered to look up the prices yet.
As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.
You don’t want this. You want the trickiest, most dangerous, oldest model you can find. Only then can you prove to the world that you’re a man.
CPS came with the used obd1 timing cover I got. Cam sensor was $80 new from a guy here. Haven't bought knock sensors yet, but I'm going with new so check Pelican parts.
