On a more constructive note, I still don't see how a m12x1.5 "die" would fit over a m14x1.5 bolt/sensor... Is it possible? Wouldn't you need substantial amount of force to even start the die?

A 12mm die will not fit over a 14mm thread. It will have to be turned down.

A lot of dies can be adjusted to fit, then you just run it over a few times

Based on more research it seems that Die should be the right one. Don't know why my local store spells it as Dye and why other sites use Dye.

With everything aside, is it even possible using a 12x1.5 dye on a 14x1.5 thread? Wouldn't that need a lot of force to get it even just to start? And would you need to shave the 14mm down to size to get the 12x1.5 dye to fit on it?
