Yea, what I did was disconnected the injector harness from the injectors and set that aside. Then unbolted the mounting bolts for the fuel rail and slid it upward. Amazingly enough it was so much room that I got the bolt with ease with my 3/8, foot long swivel extension. I'm soooo close. I could smell the fumes. LOL

Looking good. I'm guessing that the coolant port is a different fitting than the Temp gauge... Good temporary fix, looks like it'll do the job nicely. I'm guessin you figured out the screw, that's a bitch w/o a 1/4 set.

    Here's the update!

A picture of my ghetto jimmy rigged e30 temp sensor for my cluster. I live in socal so I deleted my coolant lines to my throttle body as temperatures here in So Cal don't really get that cold (818).

Picture of my 24lb Bosch injectors.

And here's where I am so far... just really small stuff to connect like throttle body boot, hfm, and I need obd1 mid pipes. Anyone got any?

Yeah, I know what motors came in what. I'm just wondering cuz I know mine's higher than 2 inches and that's w/ the Ireland stage 3's on it w/ 535 mounts.

As for shimming, its just putting a washer or piece of metal underneath the motor mount to tweak the placement up higher on that side.
Too bad I don't have my 1/4 ratchet/sockets/extensions... My dad has most of my tools... LOL. Its fine. I'll find a way... I think. LOL.

From what I heard they are relatively the same diameter/tolerance levels. The m5 came with a 3.6 litre which weighed in probably only 20-50 lbs heavier (or lighter) than the m30b35 in the 535i/is... "so I think". Lol.
