Just wanted to rub this in.. Just found out through BMW service history that this motor was actually completely replaced in 2005 at 13,000 miles because the original engine had a rod failure. This engine was an absolute steal. Motor has 47,000 and is better / newer than advertised.

this was seriously a great deal. Especially since it came with the transmission, which could easily be converted to manual and sold for $1.5-2k.
