I was quoted $3200 ....
"You send in your ECU, we modify it and flash it with a race tune. Also
includes pigtails to wire it to the chassis-side and a DBW pigtail or

So, today my stock S54 managed 305 rwhp and 317 rwnm with Autronic SM4 and locked cams. Compared to stock dynographs with VANOS you loose some torque below 4000 rpm - but as the E30 is a lighter car I don't think it will make a big difference in overall performance.
