A few years ago someone on eBay was selling NOS chains for a decent price, but everyone on here scooped them up right away. I sold my iX and thus sold my spare chain, but perhaps someone else is hoarding one they'll sell you. Otherwise, they're not available anywhere anymore.

they are NLA for sure. You're best off looking for a used one. really they shouldn't wear out unless extremely abused.

fun fact - the IX chain is the same as the one used in the Plymouth Prowler differential. and those guys were buying all the ix chains they could find to build their own custom short-ratio differentials. So probably most of them were gone long ago.

Technically they could be remade - but finding the pins was the tough part when I looked into it last time. And that was long before supply chain issues.
