    IX wheel fitment

So, yet another will these fit thread, but I think I know the answer as I have been searching and researching.
I am looking at a set of wheels locally that are 15x7 et26. Supposedly on a honda right now. Tires are Falken Ziex 205 50 15.
My research indicates that these will fit with no rubbing inssues. Is that correct? I am running H&R sports with Bilstein HD and trimmed bumpstops.
If I can get a definitive yay, I am going to pull the trigger. Thanks guys.

they will fit OK. may rub in the rear if you are lowered. you can trim the inside of the plastic flares and roll the fender lips for clearance.

You should be fine, I've seen et20 on IXs before. I think they were on 16x7's

that's still 2mm further in. you probably have 205/50-16 as 205/55-16 are pretty seriously oversized. :p

I think it will rub, but it will be really close - like within a waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleshair.

I'm gonna buy 'em. If I have to roll the fender a smidge, no big deal. Thanks for the info guys.

i had a rim with those specs. it rubbed a slight bit under really hard cornering in the rear.

not a problem at all. i was lowered and no trimming or rolling.

taking advantage of yet another wheel and tyre thread...

                      Size: 16x7
                      Offset: 35mm
                      Backspacing: 5.41"
                      Bolt Pattern: 4-100
                      Rec. Tire Size: 205/50-16

can i wrap some beefy on them or should i stick with the Rec. Tire Size?

you should be able to fit a 215/45 or so on there just fine. it really depends more on what's available in + sizes. I'd go for a better compound over a wider tire any day.

Non Lowered 325ix w / Ronal LS 15" 4x100 et25. I haven't bought a set of these yet, but want to. I need to undestand the implications. What is the best tire size? How does the stance look? What is the driving dynamic like? Is there any sacrifice?

If this question has been asked before my appologies, I did a search but came up with nothing.

                          Thanks

they should fit with 205/55-15s (stock size) but might look a little bit pokey with the low offset/high ride height. but shouldn't be bad at all.

are they 15x7 or 7.5? with 7.5 there's a chance they may rub sometimes in the rear but not nearly as bad as a 7.5" wheel with a 20mm offset.

I assume stock 14" basketweaves (14x6.5 et30) with 195/70/14's should fit a stock height ix with no issue?
