What camber are you running up front?
    E30 325ix M50 turbo 7 spd DCT 4wd 840awhp @ 31 psi.
    E30 M50 6 spd 764whp @ 24psi.

it was between -2.5 and -3.1, more camber helped a lot. with stockish settings, the outsides of the tires would overheat and the insides would be cold.

The problem with rwd e30 is the rear trailing arms. There is no much traction compared to for example volvo ridig rear axle with 4-link system.

That kind of setup where front wheel is off the ground is more likely to understeer 95% of the time. The picture that I posted has a setup that will oversteer.

In ix that will understeer until you are exiting corner under full throttle - car basicly becomes rwd, because all the front power will escape. Car will be rapidly switching from understeer to huge oversteer. The kind of behaviour that you really don't want to have.

That is not a problem unless you have enough power to spin the rear wheels. Stock ix might not encounter this problem at all.

Nando's new setup looks great in the pics !

I agree totally. That's exactly what happens. Combined with the semi-trailing arms, snap oversteer will bite you. I learned quite quickly you just need to keep your right foot planted. :p

it's been so long, but I actually felt that dialing all the understeer out would be a bad idea. I got it to be pretty neutral, but because the front wheels are driven there will always be some, it's just part of being AWD. Instead of focusing on making the car act like a RWD, I just drove it like it was an AWD.

I haven't been out much with the new suspension. actually, the current version I only drove for a few months before I parked the E30 for a while. Even my kids are asking me when we can drive the E30 again, lol. When they are 15 we'll do car control and autox in it. :D

nah, I need to figure out how to make more of them. Atm I cant make them since I dont own cnc by myself.

These are the really last ones. and if the boogle2 makes the payment, I have only 1 left after it. He wanted 2 ;)
