I took my spare transfer case apart to get the sprocket for the machinist.
So I will be producing a new set of these extension by the local machinist. He have done severals machining for me so I can believe these in his hands. Of course I will be doing final inspection on them before sending any :)

When they welded it up for me they said that the shaft only had a couple thou runout, so hopefully it will be ok with no vibrations!

Looks good. I prefer you should all check your drive shafts are straight, before installing. noticed that mine had little vibration at 60mph, and now when its out, I noticed its not prefectly straight. the pipe has throw of couple millimeters in the middle of it. I dont believe the installing the new head on it reguires balancing since it's perfectly symmetrical, but if it's not pressed straight or welded well, it might bend the pipe little

I have mine installed on a spare drive shaft ready to install. Has anyone installed one yet? I know you have to lower the TC, but that's it. I haven't dropped the TC before and am not really sure what is involved, but I am slightly nervous as it is my DD.

Just wonder how much this would cost, if some machine shop would make them??

I'll definitely take it off your hands. I'm still kicking myself for not picking one up earlier.

I still have two of these. I could be convinced to part with one..

current plans are to just stick with the 4.10s. I might need them with my planned redline. :p

If everyone else offering cash falls through, I'll take it.

I have a set of 3.64 gearsets (Front from car's original diff, rear from haoming) but I'm not putting them in for at least another year, so I still need my 3.91's
