Any driveshaft shop can balance it rather cheaply actually and I'm sure they could weld it to, but i don't see how welding it would be difficult.

surely a driveshaft shop can do it?

somebody did it on my original lengthened shaft, I don't have any vibration issues.

that is going to be big problem. welding shaft requires lots of skill. i dont know any welder near me who could do that. chance of vibrations is quite high.

and its you who desides what is your total driveshaft lenght.. you'll have to cut old shaft head off and weld a new one..

well with this shaft you have only 10mm left to hit the bottom..
splines in gearing are 60mm long and this has about 51mm long..

I still wish the splines covered the entire end, so those of us with spacers/thicker flex discs could use one.

sorry for this taking so long... i just had 2 weeks vacation of the school...
i got only wednesdays and thursdays time to make these things and i got only 4 hours for each... after all.. its only my school... not my job...
but however, yesterday i did 14 shafts to half way... need to drill lubrication channel and then make the splines... my school mate will do the splines for me. im now wondering do i need to give heat threatment to splines or not..
    need to find out that..

well is it good 150 euros which is now about 190 dollars? heat treateted, ready to weld..

Heat treated Imacro M is able to weld, when T4140 isnt... im making new shaft model with that grease nipple so you can see it. Imacro m -steel should be arriving this week.
