yeah, those are definitely ix strut mounts.

Looks like it's for rally? Must be pretty light, although heavier than a typical 02. I bet it's a blast to drive in gravel/mud/snow though.

He's a local guy I purchased a block from the parts car he mated to the 2002 body. When I went to pick it up he showed me around the shop great guy I'm sure he'd love to share details.

Hmmmm. Still looks like it needs a good bit of refinement. I've been in Vegas all day. I was thinking about visiting sin city BMW but ended up in Fremont instead. I'll have to go back over there when I'm in town next.

this car is local to me. A friend of mine works at Sin City Bmw and this is the shop-owners car! It's actually an ix frame with 2002 body matched up.
