    Just bought a 325ix

So i just bought my '89 325iX with 227k miles. I have wanted a e30 for a while and Im so happy I finally got mine. My car is mint clean and has no rust any where and only minor little things wrong with it. I just replaced the back up switch today and tried to free up the e brake a bit. The only other issues are the shifter could get new bushings and everything, I will probably just bit the bullet and go with the UUC, I love short shifters.

One thing I havent been able to figure out is this strange gurgling noise that comes from somewhere in the driveline when I lift while still in gear at about 2k. I am thinking I will replace all the fluids and see if that makes a difference. Also does anyone make stiffer motor and tranny mounts for the iX?

I will post pics when I get a hold of a camera

Welcome, looks like you bought it pretty well set up already. Looks clean, love the 4 doors too, I had to search a while to find the right sedan. More pics.

i paid 4k for it, yeah that might be high but the interior is better than my '04 M3 and the stereo is really nice.

If anyone is interested I am looking for a local trade for basket weaves and cash, the 17's are to big for my taste

Still, those look like supersprint replicas.. any idea what those headers are?

Looks much better than the average e30 people on here start with. Congrats :)

you can use stiffer motor mounts from any E30 (although you may have to modify them slightly), however the only option for the tranny is OEM.
