No sense in talking him out of it. You've seen what it started as, you've seen what its been through, and you see it now. It never ends. Noone is ever "satisfied" with the car they own.

        That said, go for it.

          I have a question?
What is the average age of this forum?
Gathering from most of the replies here, I would guess the average ages are 17-22 years old?
I'm 43 and I've been working on BMW for 30 years.

Jordans car will look like all the other 20 something RICERS if he completes that horrific body kit.He will ruin the soul of the BMW e30 (IMO).

Jordan was FIRED from Sather. Why? Because he is a young arrogant kid!
It's as simple as that. He is young, arrogant and unprofessional.

Judging from all the posts where everyone is "in awe" of Jordans skills, you all have got to be young, inexperienced and not so mechanically inclined.
Very few of you have your own opinions different than Jordons ...that must be a result of your having little or NO experience (young/no money/no tools/ no knowledge).
Your obvious infatuation with his mechanical skills leaves no doubt in my mind that you just add to his arrogance. This in the end result ..will be the firing of Jordon in any Qualified BMW PROFESSIONAL Service Shop that employs him.

A note to Jordon: I don't know you personally, but I've followed your "mods" and you are a 4 on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest) as far as executing perfection and professionalism..

I don't dislike you, however, you still are in your own little world where everyone elses opinions mean nothing and until you interact with some mature experienced professional BMW mechanics...you will stay in your own lil' pathetic world.
          Just my 02 cents

I don't mean to be rude....I just think you need a wakeup call, and it seems as though no one else here is willing to do that.

You are pretty spot on with the age group of this forum. And we all know that Jordan got fired from TSA.

Seems you are speaking from alot of rumors and opinions, and much less knowledge. Whatever floats your boat, you'll fit right in here with all the kiddies.

P.S. You spelled my name incorrectly like 10 times. Is it that hard? I mean seriously?

and for the record, I MADE Terry fire me. He treated me and everyone else that worked there like shit around the clock. He is a grumpy old man, and without his alcohol and drugs to cope he can't. Simple as that. Picture me, 50 years older and more bitter. I would have QUIT LONG PRIOR to him telling me "You need to find a new job" If I could have afforded to.

I do not miss working for Terry. I miss alot of my co workers who were genuine, fine human beings. I commend Terry's wife for sticking with him. Its is no doubt painfully hard for her. I have a much better career now, working with a great bunch of people, making nearly 2x what I was for Terry. I have potential to go somewhere with this job.. where as at Terry's it was a dead end, I was already $1.50/hr away from the "pay cap", there are NO benefits, no paid holidays, no incentives. Just another job by the hour.

Everyone (I mean everyone) that I ran into for the month and a half or so between jobs that asked me where I worked (and I disclosed without ANY hint of bitterness/emotion) "Terry Sayther Auto" all said "Oh man that guy is a dick/asshole/cock sucker etc" Terry is renound all over Austin for being a worthless person. All the other independant shops I went around to all had nothing good to say about him either. One actually appoligised for my employment there. Made my day... He doesn't need any of my help spreading that because everyone already knows.

Shit some of the customers I took with me were unbelievably greatful not to have to BEG him to work on their cars anymore.

I'm sorry...no rumors nor opinions. I have inside knowledge. But I don't wish to argue, just state the facts.

I'm sorry about the name mispelling...I have a cousin named Jordon whom I correspond with frequently. Oh, if you use the term "like" as often as my teenage daughter, in your day to day conversations, I would whole heartedly suggest you try to break that habit. It's very unprofessional
