looks like its going to turn out great.
the front looks different to how you described.
also. with wide tire like that you need some more grunt. hopefully you'll amaze us by doing something unexpected.

Well... Ive got a decent idea of what its gonna look like. I know with your skills and imagination its gonna come out looking great. With the right wheels and tires, and maybe more power later, I think that car can become one of the most amazing e30's on the planet.

Please do it to a new shell and not your current ride, that would be horrible.

          Otherwise go for it!

Jordan, I am a big fan of your car, regardless of the positive or negative comments people have made over the years. I think the amount of work you've put into this car far shadows almost any other e30 project, and it shows. I think you've done an amazing job of customizing the bodywork (m3 rear splitter, sideskirts, etc) while managing to keep it looking like it was factory. For that, my hat is off.

Aside from wanting your rear bumper setup, however, I am not a fan of the setup you're moving towards next. I'm a "stock" look fan though, and I can appreciate others' tastes, and can see that your plans, while not my taste, are still out of this world and are going to amaze the entire e30 community, because you spend countless hours making sure of it.

As for the the naysayers and those recommending starting with a new shell - first off, he built this car and it's been this way for quite some time. At this point, he's probably bored out of his mind and needs a change. I've seen cars that were perfect in my opinion get completely redone by the owners because they wanted a change and came up with a new idea. Since we all know Jordan is going to do the best job possible, don't fear change, embrace it. Remember the car as it was, with the multitude of pictures and posts about it. And then take your stance on the new vision he creates.

There are some people that don't like the car the way it is - some complain about it being too "e36-y". I like it because it's clean as all hell, is a great color, and shows a lot of ingenuity.

I wish you luck Jordan, and will certainly miss the old car, but as I said before, we'll always have an endless supply of pictures to remember it by ;)

Jordan. Do your shit man. Dont be like the rest of these internet fuckers asking everybody else what they should do with their car.

IF you dont do it because of this thread, all is lost.

                Do it.

Not doing something because one or a thousand board members is not Jordan's style - in fact, he may be more inclined to do something if he discovers general dissent ;) I believe he's merely gauging interest and starting the rumor mill, getting interest generated in his next project.

Scott, I agree with you completely, except for your thoughts on not swapping to a new shell. Why wouldn't he? He has spent so much time and money to get that car to where it is. Tearing it apart for a new project would be sad since it is so easy and cheap to come by a new shell. He will alreay doing major paint work, he has hinted at a new motor, and it would just be great to keep one of the cleanest e30s around intact.

Jordan, I don't think you have really expressed why you wouldn't swap to a new shell. Would you care to enlighten us?

I suppose you bring up a valid point. See, clean rust free shells around here are scarce - but in TX I'll bet he can find one easily. If it's a matter of a few hundred dollars, then yes, he should start fresh. Heck, he could sell the car for 10+ grand and use that money to dump into the new project.

Regardless of a new motor or body work, Jordan's suspension and interior are mint. His he literally stripped that car down to the bone and I don't think he'd want to do that whole process over again.

His car is the perfect platform for further modifcation.

                            i agree with tj

but. i dont know jordan, i think you can do better. if those fins stay, they would ruin the whole car IMHO.

and to further agree, brew is right. spend this money on s52 +twinscrew and stay on 245/255's. that way car will look amazing, handle amazing and move like a motherfucker. if you just go widebody right now, the car will look amazing but have no need for the 285's you plan to put on it. fuck jordan, even you should know better, do the damn motor first.

That said my new job is paying quite well, and if I have my way I won't be screwing with and of those lame US model e36 engines ;)
