I don't see what the problem is. Just make it lower in the front.

they still dont sit nearly as well. just look at how fucking awesome that picture steroinstaller just put up, and then compare it to E30SPDFRK.

The early arches are better looking for sure, but the difference in what you can fit under there between the two is minimal.
Id cut it all out and go widebody if my car was even remotley fast enough to handle 10"ers. 8" wheels and 225's is plenty.

Curt, your shit was badass, no doubt...but it would look better with early arches and you know it.

I do have a full late lower valence sitting in the garage.

I used to prefer early cars but the late models look great with plastic bumpers and rear apron (this is the main thing). As for the rear fender arch...no big deal just throw extra spring pads in the rear and/or lower the front.

But early models with this configuration look even better. ;)

I fucken hate early tails, 'cept for M3's ofcourse.

Anyone actually seriously contemplating swapping to early arches is going to have bloody good reason for doing so, and will most likely have a shit-hot body man on call. The chance of the car not being on a rack while this is being done - zero.

I prefer the early tails, but I want a straight style line across the back.

I think that would be sweet. [MLK VOICE]I have a dream![/MLK voice]

You guys just wont go low enough to make them look good... Oh wait, you both drive early models, so you are biased! The output of early tails suck too. I am thinking about putting a late model tail section on my car for the tails... might look funny with the tech1 kit though... you all are haters.

I never understood the late model fender hate. Most early models seem to have more fender gap in the rear than the front - yuck. Plus there's this wierd idea that you can't fit more than a 225 under a late fender. Wrong. :p
