    Floor Mat Options 2022

    Hi Everyone!

Installing the carpet in my E30 this weekend (for the first time since 2014) and I'd like to get some floormats for the car.

What options are available currently? IIRC the OEM E30 mats are NLA.
Interested in both OEM mats which may fit (from another chassis) or aftermarket.

I have e82 black rubber mats from BMW, as I stored my black factory ones, because they are NLA. I have a coupe.

I'm looking for carpet mats, but the pattern should be the same. How do the E82 mats fit compared to factory mats?

I say very good. The e82 carpet ones are NLA, that's why I went with rubber.

I've seen recommendations for Covercraft and Lloyds Mats.

Has anyone tried these out in an E30?

I have e82 rubber mats as well, they look like they belong in the car.

              Wasn’t E46 vert a close option?

              I have coco mats…

                Update:
Bought a set of Lloyd Mats Ultimat Floor Mats (Black) Front, Rear, & Trunk.
Paid dearly for shipping and import charges, but I'm impressed with the quality & plushness.

My only minor gripe was the brand logo was visible on a tag at the edge of the mat. A little precision knife work took care of that problem.

Liked them so much I bought a set for my Miata as well!

Hard to get a photo of them as they absorb all the light.

can you share a photo of the driver's side, particularly the fit around the gas pedal?

These are the only other shots I had on my cellphone. I can take some more when the car is back from the bodyshop.

Thanks! Looks like the fit around the gas pedal is pretty good.

                        They look tidy!

Thanks for not getting those gaudy quited mats.

Those quilted mats always say "trying too hard" to me. But to each their own.

I like a plush carpet, great on roadtrips when the flip-flops are off!

Lloyds does offer a "Luxe" carpet option which is high pile (48 ounce-per-yard) vs the Ultimat (32 ounce-per-yard) that I went with for my car.

I have these in my iS... Love them. They were the only ones I could find with a strip for the dead pedal, and the fit is perfect.

I didn't know they made a trunk mat. I might need that next!
