I'm doing something similar, only I'm keeping the left hand vent because when it's -15 degrees out I like hot air blowing onto my cold fucking hands. :D

You should drill holes in the carbon fiber to
(1) make it lighter
(2) make the air flow threw.

i like that guage placement. i would do it if i werent putting a/c in my car.

instead i'll be rollign with gauges in a shitty spot, where that little storage space is above the ashtray

it was fabbed.......I can prolly get u some but its ez to find sheets. It was hard to pull out the vents.........pried on it for a while.
