    Flocked Dash/ Interior

Show me good pics, its really hard to see how they look. Im considering it, but cant really tell what the Finish would look and feel in real life. In the meantime, these are all the pics Ive managed to steal from r3v

What does it feel like? I'm also interested in doing this but it looks like it'd feel weird.

Actually mine (racecar pics in 2mAn's post) its very soft. Think the inside of a jewelry box. I got the kit from flockit.com

                  Any more flockers out there?

I was up above it, Now I'm down in it ~ Entropy - A Build thread.

This was from my old car (rip), still finishing off the interior on the current car, but it too has flocked dash since cheaper to do than finding a non cracked dash down here

Why the flock was this specific thread revived?

I wanted to see what the flock was going on.

Looks tidy. I'm still debating if I like it or looks like odd carpet. Looking at doing dark deep red / maroon flocking as an alternative to leather wrapping.

Does the flock stuff ever start to come off? that would be my concern. Fluffy black stuff everywhere.

Cheers :) Kinda looks more like velvet than anything else. maroon would look sick

That one was on the car for years and i vacuumed it and stuff and never had stuff come off, I guess it depends on how well you do the flocking process?
