I had to replace my windshield anyway, so I went for it...
This is the best I have with the c-pillar:

is that peel n seal i see in the body panel there? I just put it in my entire floorboard. I heard that putting it on vertical surfaces was a bad idea especially in hot climates. Have you had any issues?

If by 'peel n seal' you mean sound deadener, yes, it is. There is already some there from the factory, but I had some left over after doing the floor, so I stuck some on there. It's been there two years and is still on, so I don't think it's going to come off any time soon.
Maryland is not a hot climate; if I lived in Arizona, I probably wouldn't have put it on, but as long as you use quality material and install it properly, it appears to work just fine.

i just removed my headliner today, and I was thinking of replacing it myself. I think I will wait until I get the car painted and the new windshield installed, and take the opportunity to do the headliner all at the same time.
you dont want to buy the spray can stuff you get at regular craft stores, they really wont hold up. You need professional grade stuff if you want it to hold up through time. AKA DAP weldwood landou top adhesive, and spray on with a critter spray bottle.
The 3M stuff doesnt really hold well, esp if you use slightly thicker fabric. I used it on some thin vinyl and it peel after about 12 month on the edge and it starts to sag. This is on the door panel mind you, so if you do the top, I'm pretty certain it will be even worse.
kinda of a hi-jack but you can buy some type of fabric dye that will work? i know some people use this kind of stuff on seats, i just wanna make mine black, any dyes or products recommended?

I would leave the foam in place (well, I did!) - it's more than sound deadener, it also is a decent insulator and provides some 'backstop' for the headliner.
To each his own.
As promised long ago, the one pic I have so far. A couple of wrinkles, but not bad looking. Lot's of work to get right.
I have the sunroof liner recovered, it looks good, but (long story short) my father in law seems to have broken part of it, I'm still trying to locate the little plastic clips that secure the arms to the rain gutter thing or whatever that hinged part is.
On a slightly related note, I had a new windshield put in today - I'd put one in from my parts car, but had a bitch of a time with the lockstrip, even with the tool. I left it for a while, then noticed that the windshield was delaminating at the base; it was starting to look foggy inside the glass at the bottom, so I sprung for a new one and the install. Glad I did. The tech has about 20 years working as an installer and it took him just over 2 hours to install! He had a bit of trouble with the lockstrip as well and ended up having to massage the thing in with a prytool. Said it was the hardest windshield he's ever installed, but it looks great now!

Thanks - I gotta say, it wasn't terribly easy, but on the other hand, certainly not impossible for a committed DIYer.
The biggest problem I had was the pocket for the support bars, particularly the rearmost one. The headliner you provided had the pocket/loop sewn to the headliner all the way across the material. The original one had the pocket/loop attached only to about 4-5 inches from either side. As provided, the headliner would not install properly because the support bar goes to the roof edge, but the headliner material has to continue past that to wrap around the C-pillar and be glued in place. I had to have my wife break out the sewing machine and resew the back seam ends as well as reinforce the pocket/loop where it had been cut back from the edge. Fortunately, she could do it, but you may want to look at that for the future.

hey, thanks for the picture. i guess i have to re-install the yellow styrofoam around the sunroof opening....to get the nice, clean seams that fold up into the sunroof hardware.
what adhesive did you use for this?
any gasketing material for where the sliding hardware sits on the roof/headliner edge??
