I have done a number of headliners. I have only taken the rear out you do not have to take the front out as you can glue the liner to the front of metal roof and the sunvisor panel will cover it up.

Thats good to know im getting ready to atempt to do my own. Does anyone know where to get the plastic piece that holds the light in place mine broke.
i started gluing last night and will continue when i get home today, will hopefully be fully glued by tomorrow and can start putting the interior back together.
i figured out yesterday that i dont have any dome lights (or i cant find them) so i just put the mounting brackets in and if i want them later ill cut for them. im thinking about leaving the oh shit handles out too, but i dont know cause i know when im a passenger thats what i hold the whole time, but im missing one of the plastic mounts for the front one.

It really is a PITA to do. It's slightly easier on cars with rear pop-out glass and maybe the same goes for 4 doors. I removed the stock headliner from my parts car w/o ripping it, you really need to take your time with this ....
Looks nice! What sound deadning did you apply to the rear quarters? I need to do that next, waiting until I cut the new protective/water shields for the front doors to do it all at once.
does anyone know the part number to those dome light brackets? and is there a bracket for the check panel in front of the sunroof controls? just bought the car and it won't stay in on the side closest to the window :-/
