cant find a great HID kit

I am looking for a nice HID kit for both low beams and high beams. I had a friend get some and they where about $150 but they crapped out on him and im just looking for a higher quality HID kit. Can anyone suggest a company that sells them i tried looking via google but all im seeing is that cheap kit.

Well I've been running 3 kits of DDM's $35 HID's for about 4-5 years now without any major problems. Their kits also have lifetime warranties now too. I did have a bulb go bad and they warrantied and replaced them both (I am local). Sometimes I have to toggle the headlights off/on to get them to stay lit on another car but I think that's mostly due to the connectors they use. I bent the connectors inward for better contact and noticed an improvement. Overall, I am pleased with them and the price cannot be beat.

by far the best customer service i've ever come across and products just as good. they have the best quality HID kits and accessories out there at prices that are more than fair considering the quality. They also have an awesome selection of HID projectors if you're looking for better output without blinding oncomming traffic.

      Check em' out..

I use Xentec HID kits from Ebay for years now. I had a bulb burn out, but it was after like 3 years. I bought another HID kit and have a spare bulb and two spare ballasts that have been sitting there for another 2 years...lol.

Buy their "higher end" version as they do last longer (the seller even says so)

Morimoto if you want a quality kit. DDM if you want the best bang for buck.

DDM hid kits arent too bad. Have them on both my cars. A bunch of my friends and family have them as well. They're about $40/kit iirc and comes with lifetime warranty. Can't beat that. I also have a Prolumen kit on one of my other cars and they have been the longest lasting HID kits I've owned. It had been on my car for more or less 5 years and I got it used from a buddy who had them for another year or two.

Im running the 6000k xentec kits in my E30 and E46 but put the 6000k DDM kit in my sons Blazer and 3000k in my Durangos fog lights. I have to say I like the DDM kit far better.

DDM is junk. you get what you pay for.

Also, don't buy 55w kits. They're just overdriven 35w bulbs - it cuts the life of them in half, they will actually be much dimmer than a 35w kit after a couple years.

That is the truth. I bought my car with a DDM kit, and upgraded to morimoto bulbs/ballasts about 6 months ago and the difference is HUGE.

Definitely worth the extra money, and as others have said, their customer service is phenomenal.
