A turbo Tercel sounds neat, kind of pointless, but neat nonetheless.

I think what Fidhle was saying is that any drag racing he does, he prefers to do at a drag strip. So, I imagine he has been to one.

I took the liberty of highlighting in bold font the reasons why you are an idiot. If some twat in a Civic/Mustang/540i (apparently) comes alongside you and wants to race, you are just as guilty as he is. 15.7 huh? My car ran 15.5 all day with the M20 motor and with the S50 I'm well into the 13s. And I have timeslips to prove it. And don't try to tell me your Tercel pulls hard enough on the top end to beat a Mustang GT because if it did, you'd be running a damn sight faster than 15.7. What are your trap speeds?

on 3 back to back to back runs, i trapped 102. 101.5 and 103mph. on the 103mph run, i had a 2.4 60ft, 10.73 1/8th, and then 15.71@103mph. spin through first, in and out of the gas to keep from pegging the limiter, feather the throttle through second so i have a little traction, spin third for 50-60ft, then it hooks and takes off.

My ETA runs 16.7 at the strip spinning through third on slicks. I can pull porshes all day.

Then no, your car is not fast. If it really pulled as hard as you said (hard enough to pull on a Mustang GT) your trap speeds would be at least ten or fifteen mph higher. Right now you're running the same speeds as my 325is did with it's old motor. Which is fucking slow.

I LOVE the way my F250's headlights line up with the mirrors on the car in front of me. Funny as hell when you see the driver adjusting the mirrors to keep from being blinded, Maybe I should do HID's on the truck to really FUCK with people...
