You use your old top plate from the old condenser. Comes with gasket and everything else you need

Anyone else running a seiko compressor? my 92 Mtech came with this and the front flange behind the pulley is leaking so I need to purchase another compressor.

Is it wise to convert to the denso everyone seems to be running or just buy a reman seiko compressor? There doesn't seem to be much data on this specific model and its merits. From what I understand mounts are no longer being made for after market compressors so I am stuck with OEM options.

Found a leak at one of the A/C drier connections on my Touring. The system is 134a converted.

I bought a new high pressure switch and Behr drier from AutohausAZ, and am hoping someone who's been through this can give me some advice before I unintentionally ruin the new drier.

Here is a pic of the new high pressure switch.

Here is a pic of the port on the drier for the high pressure switch.

So, the obvious problem - they both have male fittings. Does anyone know if the schrader valve fitting on the Behr drier is removable? The old drier I took off the car has a female port for the HPS.

                    Thanks, Cory

I've bought quite a few Behr driers and not one has had a male fitting or a schrader valve. You don't want something to keep thenswitch from bleeding down.

Agree 100%. Just wondering if anyone has removed that fitting. It looks like the base is part of the casting, and the Schrader valve part is pressed in, which would mean that drier is not compatible with the HPS.

I don't know why anyone struggles with converting to R134a, just run R12a.

Noid and Jeff - I think it's the right part, but have never done this before. I cross-referenced the part number from AutohausAZ and it comes up as the correct E30 part on ECS Tuning and FCP Euro. Here is the page from FCP, showing a picture of the drier I received, with the Schrader valve fitting in question.
