I did this with a window breaker button and it looked new. That was 3 months ago. It still looks new.How to remove, install or convert to pop out windows

I used the boiled linseed oil and paint thinner and it totally restored the plastic. the vents under the wipers were grey, darn near white and they now look brand new, one application and wipe it off. I did the side trim, front grille, all of the plastics in the engine bay, unreal.Comment

It doesnt really smear off during a wash because you remove it all when applying. The mixture reacts with plastic to make it look darker, not so much you leaving a thin layer of it on the plastic. If that makes senseCurrent:

just bumping this for people who arent aware. It costs about $10 total at home depot, and youll never need to buy any more in your lifetime if you keep track of it. Works on any plastic (ideally plastic that hasnt been painted, and is its natural color)Current:
