I have a set of Uber's V2 bracket installed in my other E30 and they are nice but since they are so thin they bend easily even just by torquing down the original seat bolts.

I recently had a set of the V2 brackets made out of 1/4 inch steel on a water jet and currently I am working with my machinist to tweak this design so you will not have to drill a hole in your floor board to accomodate the modified seat belt anchor. I used them this weekend to install some E36 power sport seats in my daily E30 and with 1/4 steel bracket the seats aren't going anywhere.

Once I have a set of V3 brackets made for my car I will sell my 1/4 inch V2 brackets to someone on the cheap and start reproducing the V3 bracket.

Excellent, i have been getting PM's about selling these. My PDF for the design got corrupt and I don't have the ability to make them anymore unless I did all the measurements again. Glad to see someone else can provide the community with a solution.

After buying the V2 design i decided you make my own plates out of thicker steel. But i welded them to the vaders instead of bolting them in. Not ideal for most people but I plan on actually tracking my car with these seats if i can fit with a helmet. Vaders are freakin tall.

The v2 brackets are basically the way to mount these into a 4dr or vert unless you still want to drill holes through your floor board.

I have a e46 center console in my e30. Will adding the e36 seats be possible for me? I've tried looking for an answer, but no luck.

I have an e46 center console ans e36 seats, it is a very tight fit and the arm rest can rub at times.

Are the Vader seats heavier or lighter than the original?

They do look sick, but my car does not need the few extra pounds.

Is the seating position higher? I like seats very low to the floor...
