I have a set of Uber's V2 bracket installed in my other E30 and they are nice but since they are so thin they bend easily even just by torquing down the original seat bolts.
I recently had a set of the V2 brackets made out of 1/4 inch steel on a water jet and currently I am working with my machinist to tweak this design so you will not have to drill a hole in your floor board to accomodate the modified seat belt anchor. I used them this weekend to install some E36 power sport seats in my daily E30 and with 1/4 steel bracket the seats aren't going anywhere.
Once I have a set of V3 brackets made for my car I will sell my 1/4 inch V2 brackets to someone on the cheap and start reproducing the V3 bracket.
