I'm 7.5" wide ET20 and no rubbing or fender touching, and my car is lowered about 2.5" in the front! 205 tires though. If you ran 16x8" with 225's I think it would fit with a 25-27mm offset. -
et42 with a 7.5" wheel will not clear the strut. a 20mm spacer with longer lug bolts would be needed to make those work. a 15mm spacer may work, but if you want to use 225's then you'd be cutting it very closeOriginally posted by redl1nerpm@hotmail.comOf course I know our cars our rear wheel drive, its the reason they handle the way they do, its why bmws are cars for drivers and why they perform well, its why we buy bmws! I guess I'm just trying to find a nice looking wheel that not many other guys are using on their e30's. If the wheels are for fwd what is the difference? Just the offset? And if the offset is +42mm is that enough to where I need a spacer?

Where can I find Ronal LS's in Canada?Originally posted by MystikalUsually. And you can actually run 8" wide wheels, ask Ryan Stewart for advice on offset.
Just get Ronals, they are cheap, strong, 7.5" wide, and look awesome with no spacer requirement. I'd be surprised as hell if you found 4x100 wheels that don't require spacers on E-bay (besides BBS RS', etc.).Comment

they also need to be hubcentric, and have the same hub bore (57.1mm)
and yes, BMWs are great, that's why we don't put cheap shitty generic wheels on our cars.. ;)Comment

If the wheel was designed to fit the Honda without rings, then it won't fit. They have a 1mm smaller centrebore. If it's a larger universal wheel, then yeah a proper spacer that may or may not need rings would work.Originally posted by erik325iSo, what needs to have the same hub bore? The wheels and the spacers? So, with the correct hubcentric spacer, you could put a honda wheel onto an e30?Originally posted by nandothey also need to be hubcentric, and have the same hub bore (57.1mm)Comment

Hondas almost always have a larger center bore than E30's, which means you need to use hubcentric rings, not boring the center out...Originally posted by m20e34VW 4x100 wheels fit with no problem, same centerbore, very close offset.
Honda 4x100 wheels will fit if: 1. you have the centerbore milled out. or 2. you attack the centerbore with a die grinder. :)Comment

Hondas have smaller or was it larger? (Which ever way it was) offsets. My friends Regamasters didn't clear the front suspention in my e30. I think he said the offests were at 45. I think the bigger the number, the closer the wheel is towards the center of the car.My drinking team, has a racing problem.

honda's centerbore and mini's as well are 56mm, versus our 57mm, so you would bore out the center if you wanted them to fit.Originally posted by DigitalwaveHondas almost always have a larger center bore than E30's, which means you need to use hubcentric rings, not boring the center out...Comment
