awesome job! The pulley looks great, how much did that cost? I have local friend supercharging his E30 and in the future he may want a bigger crank pulley made.

Thanks man. Wasnt easy to find a good tech to built it. My contact is: Mark Campbell at HotRod and Performance: 479-394-5711.

He did it for 225$. 7" diameter 6 rib. thats a very good price the quality is amazing.

              Looks great....quick question

A larger crank pulley is going to spin all the accessories faster, at high rpm you might be spinning things much faster than there designed to spin, might jus want to keep an eye on things.

Or am I over thinking this?

nope the stock water pump/alternator remains the same size.

the big crank pulley is ONLY for the supercharger (dedicated belt system with tensioner) so it will only spin the supercharger faster. It will spin it 7"/2.6" = 2.8 times the crank speed I may even have to go with a bigger SC pulley since I bought the quick removal pulley system I will be able to fine tune properly but the limitation is now removed as the m52 crank was only 4.89".

Sorry guys just been extremely busy with my province move... It was a big ass painful move... Im still unpacking boxes everywhere and taking care of working and my 3 year old..lol... but the great part of all this is the drag racing track is 15 minutes away from my house so expect some big updates and real quarter mile vids (finally real legal action vids) balls to the walls dont care if I come back in a trailer... my new 2012 jeep unlimited can tow the E30 like nothing :)

So I got to finish bleeding my brakes, install my PS electric pump, pass the provincial safety then install new pulley and fit in new belt, re-tune for 10+ PSI instead of 4 PSI and then its Sunday track time...cant wait..all this by end of August is my goal

                      lata..

Yeap am a busy father but my move to my new house i will have a lot more time for the E30... I have some brakets in the making (not sure how much to charge for them yet)

                          ***UPDATE***

Long time no updates...finally all moved in but I could not resist in going to see my friend Arek from www.8legsracing.com race at the trois riviere grand prix.

Here is is posing with my 12 year old Nicolas, it was his first time at the races he loved it.

Pic of me and my son in front of yet another very cool and powerfull BMW at the grand prix.

So I decided on these little mini project on my car to make it a better street machine.

-Sound proofing I made a custom sound blanket (removable) and added insulation on the hood and inside the dash.
-Also relocating my throttle body to make it the way a roots type is really suppose to work (I had issues with drivability and with 10-12 PSI no way a BOV or multiple BOV would work....plus the sound is way too much) so this decrease the sound by a LOT and with no BOV drivability will be much better. Its a lot more work but much worth it.

And here you can see the location of my electric PS with the high and low pressure attached (just have to make a mount for it)

After I finish these 2 mini project I will install my big custom 7" pulley and look for a 6 rib belt and then am off to the drags (my goal is 2 weeks) then let the fun begin :)

yeah me too.... soon hopefully my next video will be at the dyno a Julien performance close to my home and then the track.

Just finished doing the throttle body relocation world of a difference wow.

Tuning idle and part throttle right now...should be on the street soon but I have to retune everything from scratch which is long, this setup (throttle before roots charger) is the way to do it.

                              short boring vid..

this is how it sounded before:
