I voted OEM for the twin screw version otherwise known as the Lysholm!
There is no doubt that the OP has read the infamous book by Corky Bell? His references and guidelines is what I followed when putting a turbo on my 2L 16V VW Golf.
As for P/S, I say yes, keep it, especially as a daily driver and for A/C...mine is not functioning and who needs it!Last edited by scott66; 10-31-2012, 09:31 AM.

And how are you comparing the M90 to the M60? The M90 is more efficient that the M60 in that it takes less effort to move tha same amount of air at a reduced temperature...so if its up to the M60 or M90...I say to the OP (thats ORIGINAL POSTER)...go with the M90.
In my dream world though, I would still put a Lysholm on my E30 rather than any Eaton supercharger.Last edited by scott66; 11-01-2012, 04:12 AM.

I was in the same boat as you (TS fanboi) until learning more. now I'm leaning back towards eaton's product (the newer the better - for better efficiency).

I have decided i wanted to SC after finishing a ghetto turbo conversion.
I would myself be looking for a kit that puts the charger in the alternator or the PS location. I myself wont have AC but doing it this way would allow people with AC to keep it.
Anyway subbed e.t.c., any estimates on price for the brackets + pulleys + piping/IC setup?RIP 84 323i coupe 5spd w/ 14psi

Yes but i need a car to put the stuff on so i can dyno tune on crappy california gas on top of mocking up and taking measurement. I'm considering selling my turbo kit for the 316i and just supercharging it but that car has nothing in the engine bay. Plus the 84 chassis is too different to gamble on fitment issues.

But I don't need to cloud up Nigel's thread. I was just curious/interested in the progress of his kit.The first car I ever rode in was an e30

Pitched it to my group for senior design. We decided to build one of these instead
